DOMINION is one of Manhattan's most intimate event venues. Located in the "hot" Astor Place quarter of Manhattan in the famous 1831 Colonnades Row historical landmark building, it features a beautiful barroom and lounge, and fully equipped 100 seat cabaret/theater/screening room. The theater with its "floating" seating is perfect for live performances, film screenings, corporate meetings, and private parties. Seating can be arranged to accommodate any event, for example, an intimate cabaret setting with candle-lit tables is easily accomplished.

DOMINION's theater is equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment making it ideal for producers wishing to showcase complex theatrical musical productions or individual artists' performances before going on to larger venues. No additional sound or lighting equipment is needed. Everything is here. Additionally, any event can be recorded digitally to our 64 channel Digidesign Pro Tools Hd recording system, making DOMINION an ideal venue for live album recording. High-definition 6-camera video production is also available.
DOMINION's barroom boasts a fully stocked premium bar, offering a selection of fine domestic and imported wines. For Hors D'oeuvres, buffets, and sit-down dinners we team up with our next door neighbor the renowned INDOCHINE restaurant, now in its 25th year serving delicious French/Vietnamese cuisine.
DOMINION offers catering packages for many budgets, and can accommodate up to 150 persons for Hors D'oeuvres and buffets, and 60 persons for a sit down dinner.
